MixUp

MixUp is the largest retailer of music and video in Mexico, with an assortment of music CDs, videos, movies and video games. The origin of Promotora Musical, SA de C.V. or "Promusa" dates back to 1994, when Grupo Carso acquired 51.0% stake in the owner company of the music stores known as Mixup.

In 2000 the e-commerce site www.mixup.com.mx was launched, offering a wide range of CDs, DVDs and video games, and in 2008 the e-commerce site www.ishopmixup.com was launched, offering a wide range of technology products.

MixUp has improved its sales mix by reducing the sales of music CD’s and videos with the introduction of accessories for telephones and portable audio equipment.
